In partnership with government, colleges, universities and employers, we are opening up access to quality, practical competence-based education in accounting for all. To date, over 4000 municipal officials alone have benefited from customized accounting training, addressing skills shortages from entry to mid-level, improving audit reports and ultimately, service delivery.

What are Funded Skills Initiatives?

AT(SA) offers qualifications in accounting that equip students with the latest knowledge, skill and competencies. They take you on a progression pathway to build a career in accounting, finance and business. The term ‘funded learnership’ is used to describe when your employer or other body funds your study. To me, AT(SA) has been everything, everything. Like I said, it is advanced Accounting made easy. I am where I am today because of the training I got from AT(SA), the support we got from our lecturer... it was like we were a family and she our mom.” “It can change someone’s life. Look at me today, it never, never, never crossed my mind that one day I would work in a formal environment... I am enjoying it, I am loving it, and I know I will grow.

For me it came at a time when I was feeling down and out and it was a great opportunity for me. And it showed me that I can actually do Accounting... it lit up that fire that I had for Finance again.
